Art has always been a passion for Kelly. She has always used art as a form of therapy to overcome and process hardships endured throughout childhood. Kelly has been creating whimsical artwork for as long as she can remember. She found photography after the birth of her second son and uses the photographic medium as a base canvas to help bring her concepts into reality. Kelly feels that story telling is a huge part of the creation process. Although her art is sometimes dark and melancholy, Kelly finds it an essential element used to showcase the reality that life isn’t always perfect, and that beauty lies within emotion and vulnerability.
