Visual artist. Graduated in Art and Visual Communication.
Paola Rizzi's photographic work is divided into a personal part and a commissioned one. Paola, as she says herself, creates illusions based on reality by distorting normal perception.
Her work explores the themes of individual and social identity, but the environmental theme has become increasingly important in her photographic research.
To carry out her projects she uses different techniques that she often decides at the end of the creative process. You work mainly with photography and installation.
She is passionate and specialized in hyphonography, she has been carrying out for years a photographic research through the use of this everyday object that she led her to create at the Galleria Civico 8 in Vigevano "Project 365", a suspended photographic per day.
Her works have been exhibited in group and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad:
Beijing Biennale Italy China, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Venice, Slovenia, Cormons, Genoa Biennale, Photissima Art Fair Turin, Milan Photofestival, Photo Festival of Rosignano, Paratissima Turin, Rome.
She exhibited her personal her "I am here" in Milan under the curatorship of Paola Riccardi.
