Anita Maggiani is an Italian portrait photographer who at the age of 15 chose photography as the visual art which could substitute her passion for painting.
Before becoming a studio portrait photographer specializing in newborn and maternity in the last seven years, she had worked with travel, regattas, editorials for magazines and weddings.
In 2013 her work was selected to be part of an international 7 week exhibition in the NYC gallery.
In 2019 she was selected to represent Italy in the WPC in the Portrait category.
She also won a 1st and a 2nd placement at the Birth and Beyond Awards.
In 2020 and 2021 she won more than 80 awards in a number of international contests such as WPE, EPA,WPI, WPC, IPA, Rise Awards, Cosmos Awards, 35 Awards, Asia WPA and the monthly contest held by the Societies of Photographers.
She's been judge for the Expression Photography Awards and for New York Photography Awards in 2021.
Her work was displayed in Philadelphia (International Salon of Contemporary Art) in 2021 and at Salmagundi Club in New York in 2022
