Ben Connolly is a Queensland based, Internationally acclaimed Wedding Photographer, Speaker, Educator and Photography Judge. Ben is the Founder of Ben Connolly Creative, a boutique wedding photography studio based in Australia focussing on weddings and working with over 50 couples per year, with a Photography career spanning over 27 years and over one thousand weddings
Ben is one of the most awarded wedding photographers in Australia, while also being the highest ranked Australian in 4 International Photography Competitions. He is a competition Judge and has spoken to audiences in Australia, USA, Japan and the UK
After a near fatal skydiving accident in 2002, Ben shifted focus to weddings and developed a passion for the use of flash and creative lighting in his work. Creatively, Ben is drawn to creative lighting techniques and the more technical side of crafting beautiful imagery. Ben's photographs are bold and colourful with an unconventional mix of detailed posing, creative lighting and off camera flash.
Ben also has a passion sharing his photography and business learnings, along with his successes and failures to help others better understand photography and business to enable and empower them to bring their unique visions of photography and success to life.
