Guðný Lára is an award-winning photographer based in the east side of Iceland. She splits her time between wedding photography and artistic photoshoots. She has been artistic since she can remember.

She was born and raised in the country side. As a kid, she loved painting and drawing just as much as she loved playing outside in the lovely fjord between the mountains where she was raised . It wasn't until she picked up a camera as a teenager that she found the need to show people her visions, she invested all her time in getting those visions down in a photo, as hard as it was in the beginning it got easier and more fun as her art developed.
