Biography

Kirill Uyutnov was born and bred in Moscow. He graduated from The Geological Prospecting University, and now he is organizing photo trips all over Russia. Kirill started photographing at school, and later, during many lengthy expeditions the contemplation of natural forms leading him to embrace thoughtfulness and mindfulness in photographing the natural beauty of the surrounding world. Kirill Uyutnov took a wide range of pictures stretching from the Arctic to the equator; but he fell in love with the sublime nature of the Russian North. So, over the past fiveteen years, with a camera in his hands, he visited Yakutia, Kolyma, Chukotka, the Urals and Caucasus mountains, the Putorana plateau and lake Baikal, Kamchatka and the Kola Peninsula, Yamal, the Taimyr Peninsula and the Laptev and Kara Sea. Kirill Uyutnov is a member of The Russian Union of Wildlife Photographers, The Russian Union of Art Photographers and The Russian Geographical Society. He is winner of photo contests by National Geographic (Wildlife of Russia), The Golden Turtle, Global Arctic Awards, Wiki loves Earth and other. Kirill won the State Grant of the Ministry of Culture of the Russia for a Project about nature in the Russian North. He organized three personal exhibitions in Europe and many Russian cities. In 2019, Kirill worked with Gazprom Neft on Franz Josef Land on the project "Narwhal. Legend of the Arctic", the results of which were reflected at the largest wildlife festival "Pristine Russia".
