Photographer: Mauro Mamone

Eclectic, curious, creative and extroverted, Mauro Mamone was born in Venice on 10 March 1956. After a clash with scientific studies he preferred to attend the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Youthful interests combined with a particular aptitude for painting and graphic arts find a natural outlet in photography. At the age of 16 he took his first steps in the world of photography, at 18 he won the International Photography Award of the city of Padua, while his first professional assignment came in '79 at the age of 22. In 1990 he was awarded the "City of Venice" photography prize. The passion for the dynamism of the image leads him to approach the world of fashion. His work is extremely suitable for an advertising speech. In fact, he will create various advertising campaigns, including at an international level. Through his personal creative research in photography he manages to constantly change the experience of seeing. After having gained professional experience abroad (mainly in the USA - he lived in Seattle from 1983 to 1984; an agent in New York promoted him in the United States) he participated in numerous workshops as a teacher of photography and communication, holding various presentations in university setting. My work was born out of a passion for photography, the dynamism pushes it towards the following sectors: Fashion, Beauty, Swimwear, Glamour, Pin up, Burlesque, Lingerie, Nude Art, Portrait and collateral sectors.
