I come from a family of artists from Romania , both parents being painters by profession, from them I inherited the talent for painting. I had the honor of working for several prominent television networks in Romania. During this time, I delved into various forms of visual expression, including documentary filmmaking, animated films, visual effects for cinematography VFX, commercial and artistic photography.
Using my camera and imagination, I strive to create a unique, realistic image that tells a story, even if it includes elements that seem impossible. Essentially, I work to solve the problem of how to capture the impossible.
I place a strong emphasis on realism in my creations and aim to make the viewer feel as if they are part of the scene. While much of my work involves post-production and photo compositing, I also strive to capture as much of the action as possible on location. This often involves building props and carefully planning the shots.
Light and perspective are crucial in creating realistic compositions by combining images. If certain elements cannot be captured on location, I recreate them in a controlled environment to ensure that everything comes together perfectly. Every photo and element has a purpose in the final image.
The idea, the photography and the post-production are all interconnected, I do not use AI-generated materials or stock images, I rely exclusively on complex combinations of my own photos.
