Biography

What do photographers usually write "about themselves"? Well, at least that's what I saw when I was thinking what to write.

They write about creativity and inspiration.

But I couldn't do that, I thought it would be "insincere." It seems to me that there is no inspiration. There are only ideas and a desire to shoot. And "lack of inspiration" is an excuse for the lazy.

There's a camera, there's an idea, there's a desire to create — go ahead and shoot.

And whether there was inspiration will be clear when you start to disassemble what you took.

What else? I worked as a photographer for a while, but I quickly realized that I didn't want photography to be my main job.

Then I didn't take it off for a long time. I couldn't "wrap my head around" the fact that now that you're shooting digitally, you need to be able to not only shoot, but process. There was no place to learn it then. I didn't like the results of what I was getting. So I abandoned it.

But then, the craving for photography took its toll. And I started filming and studying the processing again.

Photography is now a favorite hobby. I rarely take commercial shoots. Only when the project promises to be interesting.

How to finish?

A quote from a cool French photographer stuck in my head. I was looking for which one, but I couldn't find it.

But definitely not Henri Cartier-Bresson.

"Memory doesn't make movies, it makes photos."

Well, that's probably why I'm so passionate about it all.
