Roman Adler is a documentary photographer, urbanist, and poet. For over six years, his work has explored the lives of ordinary people at the breaking point of an era. Rejecting superficial reportage of chaos, his lens serves as an instrument of quiet resistance, capturing the heroism of everyday existence. He is the creator of the long-term documentary project The Humans v.21, structured in five Acts. The project seeks the "Gold of the Territories" — the fundamental humanity that remains when all social and political masks fall away. Adler’s photography is a visual dialogue with the classical humanistic tradition. He believes that photography does not create meaning; it merely allows it to manifest. His work has been exhibited internationally, and he is the author of six photobooks with over 1,500 awards.
"My camera is a bridge between the world where 'everything is fine' and the world where people simply live against all odds."
