Photographer: Simeon Salov

Simeon Salov is a Bulgarian photographer with more than a decade of experience in visual storytelling. Before specializing in wedding and documentary photography, he worked as a reporter, editor, news anchor, and documentary filmmaker in national media. This background shaped his natural, unobtrusive approach and his ability to anticipate real moments as they unfold.

Today he photographs weddings, rituals, events, portraits, and editorial assignments, always focusing on authenticity, emotion, and clean visual composition. His work combines journalistic intuition with a refined artistic sensibility.

Simeon is a member of several international photography organizations, including the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP), where he is the only active member based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He also participates in global competitions such as Fearless Photographers, WPJA, This Is Reportage, and WPE Awards.

He believes that great photography is not about posing, but about capturing the truth of the moment — the small gestures, the quiet emotions, and the stories that matter.
