Teodora Sarbinska is an artist and photographer from Kyustendil, Bulgaria. She creates collectible art dolls and sculptures of primed textiles and experiments in various photographic genres. She has performed many solo exhibitions and participated in collective exhibitions. Her works are owned by private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, France, Canada, USA, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Italy and others.
Teodora Sarbinska believes that the artist is meant to follow the principles of his mental tectonics and find his own way, and art gives a dramatic intensity to everyday life. In turn, the staticity of the finished product - the pictures reminds us that every moment is unique and irreversible. She strives to create photographs that construct stories to unfold with the help of imagination and to present a constantly changing story. Her works are a sympathetic manifestation of nostalgia for the universality, a delicate call to understanding of transitivity. They are the reflections of anxiety, loneliness, melancholy, reciprocity, longing and the signs of uncertainty and vulnerability of human existence, of restrained and strict tenderness, of ordinaryness but of nobility aswell.
