Shamal(Fayegh)Shakibayi is a documentary and street photographer based in Mahabad, Iran. Born in 1996, Shakibayi's journey into photography began at the age of 20, capturing images with his mobile camera. Over five years of dedicated practice, he honed his craft through the lens of a mobile phone, developing a deep affinity for social and street documentary photography.

Shakibayi's work is driven by a desire to capture the unique moments of people's lives and the urban landscapes surrounding them. He believes that photography is akin to poetry, using the camera to evoke emotion and challenge viewers to see the world differently. His images are more than just snapshots; they are emotional narratives that reveal the depth and complexity of the human experience.
