Pauline Vandewiele is a Belgian interior architect and photographer based in Antwerp, working at the intersection of architecture, atmosphere and visual storytelling. Her background in interior architecture has shaped the way she approaches photography: with a strong sensitivity to composition, materiality, light and the quiet details that give a place or moment its character.

As the founder of Studio Lumin, Pauline photographs weddings and portraits with a style that blends documentary observation with an editorial sensibility. Rather than directing every moment, she is drawn to what already exists: gestures between people, fleeting expressions, imperfect movement and the atmosphere surrounding a celebration. Her imagery is cinematic and romantic without becoming overly polished, with influences ranging from European cinema and fashion photography to painting and analogue imagery.
Her work is particularly interested in the tension between spontaneity and refinement. A photograph can be beautifully composed while still feeling completely lived-in; elegance does not have to mean formality. This philosophy has become central to Studio Lumin, where weddings are approached less as a sequence of obligatory photographs and more as individual visual stories.
