Therese Asplund is an internationally awarded Swedish portrait and fine art photographer with a passion for people, creativity and light.
Based in Avesta, Sweden, she has been running her own portrait studio for over 20 years, working with both commercial and private clients. She is a Nikon Creator, Canson Infinity Ambassador and Elinchrom Global Ambassador.
Curiosity and a playful approach are at the heart of her photography. She loves experimenting with light, styling and unexpected materials, often turning personal creative projects into award-winning images.
Her achievements include 13 Swedish Championship titles, Overall Winner of WPE Awards 2023 and the prestigious Double Master Qualified European Photographer (MQEP) distinction.
Therese also loves sharing her knowledge through workshops, lectures and mentorships worldwide. She is the founder of Play to Learn Workshops, bringing photographers together to create, experiment and grow.
