Photographer: Isac Pinto

Isac Proença Pinto was born in Lourenço Marques, Mozambique, in 1973. Graduated in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (1996) is a professor and photographer.
The connection to the images comes from afar: the great-grandfather, Joaquim da Costa, inaugurated the first cinema in Condeixa-a-Nova, in 1932; his grandfather, José Pinto, opened the first photography house also in Condeixa-a-Nova; his father, António Pinto, a photographer with more than four decades of career, began as a photo reporter in Lourenço Marques and was a trainer in several schools.

For Isac Pinto, photographing has been a constant, but somehow a clandestine heritage. However, the passion for this art...moves.
