I'm a pet photographer based in Prague, Czech Republic. I've been taking photos since I was fifteen years old, when I started to realize that my first dog was getting old and one day the time would come when we would have to say goodbye. I wanted to keep some tangible memories of her that I could pull out of a drawer and smile at. So I got my first camera and started taking pictures. After many years, I started my photography career and began to help other pet owners make similar memories. My own experience has had a major influence on my photographic style - I don't try to capture the actual reality so much, but a certain bond I feel between the animals and their people, a special connection that is a little different for each pair. In each shoot I try to understand the life story that the animals and their owners have behind them, and to capture something that characterizes them in some way. Whether I succeed or not, you can see for yourself :)
